How do I disable Ultra AV on Windows?

Sometimes Ultra AV may trigger a false positive when trying to download a file. These false positives may interfere with what you want to do. Instead of uninstalling Ultra AV to fix the issue, you can temporarily disable Ultra AV, which stops the application from interfering.

This is not recommended to do unless you are sure that the file or application you are trying to download or launch is clean, as disabling Ultra AV may result in your computer getting infected with malware.

If you want to temporarily disable Ultra AV on Windows, you can do that by first opening the Ultra AV application. In there, you will find an option called Auto-scan. Click on that to temporarily disable Ultra AV.

You'll be presented with a new window which asks you to verify how long you want to disable Ultra AV for.

You can, at any time, enable Auto-scan again by once again clicking the Auto-scan option, if you want to disable it for a shorter time than 1 hour. It is not recommended that you turn it off completely, even if there's an option to do so.
