How do I exclude files and folders from the scan on Windows?

If you're experiencing issues with files or programs getting tagged with false positives in Ultra Antivirus, you can try excluding them from the virus scan.

Excluding files from Ultra AV on Windows

First, open the UltraAV app.

Next, you will want to go to Security > Recover files in the Ultra AV app. Here, you can see any quarantined files. You will also find a button called Exclusions. Clicking here will take you to a new page where you can add or remove files you don't want to be scanned.

On the new page, click in + Add. This will open the File Explorer. Select the folder or file you want to exclude and click on OK.

After adding a file or folder, it will be displayed in the list below.

Be careful what you exclude, as you don't want to exclude more than is necessary.

The file(s) you have selected will now be excluded from the virus scan.

If you want to remove a previously ignored file, click on the three dots next to the file and select Remove.
